Some folks said the only way to permanently turn it off is at the dealer. That could be, but here's what I did. Ok- RAB was always more annoying than helpful since I got my 2018 XT.

As a result, said the windshield is aftermarket therefore not allowing device to read properly. I have scheduled OEM replacement windshield at a cost of $900. More to follow…. It defaults to on with each start up, so possibly a headlight motor is bad that moves the lights. That may also disable the auto setting on the turn signal stalk.
